PERIODONTAL USE Of A DENTAL LASER

For the past twelve years, we have been using a CO2 dental laser during our periodontal surgical procedures. Use of a dental laser reduces post-op bleeding, swelling, and discomfort. Using a dental laser usually eliminates the need for a periodontal dressing around your teeth after the periodontal surgical procedure has been completed. Periodontal dressings frequently harbor food debris and bacteria, which results in a bad taste, bad breath, and undesirable appearance.
